AKT II – New Publication

AKT II have just published a new book, called “Design Engineering Refocused”, that explores the evolving role of engineering and computation within interdisciplinary design.

It covers a range of our projects – both large developments and smaller art collaborations – and happily it includes a few of the projects I’ve worked on!

Al Fayah Park project, with Heatherwick Studio.
Hybrid Shells project, with Zaha Hadid Architect.
Serpentine Pavilion 2016, with BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group).

The book also delves into the software we are currently developing in-house: CFD toolkits, interoperability, engineering visualisation, and so on.

It’s a great overview of our work!
