AKT II have just published a new book, called “Design Engineering Refocused”, that explores the evolving role of engineering and computation within interdisciplinary design.
It covers a range of our projects – both large developments and smaller art collaborations – and happily it includes a few of the projects I’ve worked on!
– Al Fayah Park project, with Heatherwick Studio.
– Hybrid Shells project, with Zaha Hadid Architect.
– Serpentine Pavilion 2016, with BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group).
The book also delves into the software we are currently developing in-house: CFD toolkits, interoperability, engineering visualisation, and so on.
It’s a great overview of our work!
